Katie & Lance are Married!!
What a fun couple. They had so many fun ideas for their wedding. They just wanted their weekend to be about things they love. The rehearsal dinner started out with a grooms cake for lance. He loves the Eagles Greatest Hits album, SO I had to try my hand at an Eagles Cake.
Here is the Album Cover
The cake.
I have to say I was really excited with it!
This was a dark chocolate cake with ganache and mocha buttercream filling.
I also created favors for their guests.
Coconut cupcakes with key lime filling and presented in "take out" boxes
Finally, the Wedding cake... They had a small 35 person wedding. So I raised the top tier to make the cake appear larger. Yes, that is a ring sitting in rose. When lance proposed to Katie they were in the Caribbean. Well, on top of his fear of dropping it in the sand and never finding the ring again, Katie has ridiculously small fingers so he ordered the ring from Kohl's online for $5.99. They even made a joke about it on their invitations. So funny! She has a very beautiful ring now, but what fun story Katie & Lance thank you so much for letting me be apart of your wedding weekend. It was such a joy to work with the the two of you. Best of luck in your new journey together!!
Fun In The Sun Because, Lillie's 1!!!
I am truly blessed to be apart of so many life celebrations. I am a big believer that a first birthday should be celebrated in a BIG way (especially for the parents!!). It truly is the fastest year of your life. Thank you Jenn for letting me be apart of your beautiful daughter's birthday.
Hopefully, Lillie really enjoyed her first cake!!
Happy 90th Birthday Mamaw!
My Mamaw turned 90 and of course that is cause for celebration. She is such an amazing person. I'm not sure what we would do with out her in our lives. It was so fun to surprise her with a party (she is still talking about it)
As you can see she was a little embarrassed

I tried a couple of new flavors out on my family, coconut cake with key lime filling and a chocolate cherry cake with ganache filling.

Like wine everything is better with age (that is true right?)
I can't tell you how excited I was when my Spanish teacher from high school contacted me to do cupcakes for her husband's 50th birthday. She is one creative lady. The cupcakes went into the gift bags for her guests. I hope they enjoyed them. It was such a pleasure to see her again.
Often imitated never duplicated..
Well almost never. It is a good thing when you have made enough cakes to have your new clients wanting past cakes creations. When I received these two orders, I have to say I was really excited because they are some of my favorite cakes to create.
I love Sydney's name on the cake
A castle is not complete with out heart shaped topiaries and flower boxes. I was trying out some new packaging for my cupcakes.
Little bitty baby booties..
I have to tell you how much I LOVE to do baby cupcakes (or cakes). It is such an exciting time in the couples' life and I am glad I get to be a part of the excitement.

Stay tuned for some new "baby" products I will be offering. I am really excited and can't wait to share my ideas with you!
